
Meadow Cottage is situated in the village of
Staveley, within the Lake District National Park, only 3 miles from Windermere.
It is easily accessible by car and public transport with Staveley station
only 5 minutes walk and the bus stop almost on the door step. There are regular
buses to Kendal Windermere and Ambleside.
The cottage ideally suited for 2 people and provides comfortable accommodation for anyone who wants to explore the region. It is at the end of a terrace of 4 cottages,which was once the village smithy dating back to the 19th century.
Entry into the cottage is straight into the cosy living area with a 2 seater settee, a comfortable arm chair, a gatelegg dining table and desk under the stairs. The room is equipped with a flat screen TV, Freesat from Sky, a DVD player and mini hi-fi unit. Through to the kitchen there is an electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge, a dishwasher and full compliment of kitchen utensils.
Upstairs there is a delightful double bedroom in white decor, a dressing room which also houses the gas fired combi boiler. The bathroom has a bath with good separate overhead shower, WC, washhand basin and towel rail.
